Hi

I’m having a difficult time getting a single page in its own chapter to display without being superimposed on a larger pub page.

The main pub is set up to display in an 800X600 window. The chapter at issue has a single 365X260 page, set to display in the main window.

I've tried a variety of potential solutions but can't get the result needed.

All I’d like to do is have the 365X260 "ExpiredTrial" (the default page upon trial version expiry set in the security tab) to show (runtime as well as preview) in its own window with no other page from the pub behind it.

I’ll attach a cut down version of the .imp as a sample.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Hi Stephen,

In my understanding of Opus, the first chapter in a pub is deemed as the main chapter. So therefore you can't have other chapter windows open, and then just close the main one (as it would exit the pub). To have only one small window display on its own, you'll have to make the first chapter small in page size, and then design your pub around that.

I suppose the other way (which I have not tried), may be to have the first main chapter with a transparent background that the user never sees. (so they will only appear to see your prompt expire page)

It may be simpler just to have the typical exit page showing the pub trial has expired. ;)

Thanks Steve for your reply.

The transparent solution seems the best way to simulate the needed effect, an idea also suggested by DW support.

Kind Regards,
