can anyone give me advice on how to make a looping DVD presentation.
I have made a loop using the timeline within the DVD publication, and made sure that the length of video time when published exceeds the duration of one cycle of my loop, but it doesn't loop when I play it back in Intervideo WinDVD player...

Mac,

The reason your method does not work is the page is rendered to a video. All that will happen in this case is the time line will loop until the page time limit is reached at which point it will stop rendering the page. If this was not the case it would never stop rendering and the publish would continue until you run out of disk space.

To make a DVD loop; you need to tell one page to load another page, then the newly opened page opens the original page.

I have attached an example that demonstrates this.

Another method would be to create your page as a menu page. Menu pages can be set to run for a specific length of time then loop. Settings for this are on the page type tab.
