Hello

I am using a login page for my publications. Text input boxes, ASP and Access Database. It sometimes happens that word spaces do not appear in the Database, for instance "Jonas Helgason" turns out as "JonasHelgason". The strange thing is that the same box, same variable only sometimes turn out this error. Special caracters and symbols are allowed in the box.

Any idea?

Jonas

Maybe you need to escape the variable you are sending to ASP and database?

Hello again

Sorry about my English, what do you mean by "escape the variable"?

The problem seems to be in the "Post Web Data" or ASP. If I make a text box in my opus publication to show the variables everything is OK. Then using "post web data" and .ASP to send them to MSAccess the error turns up. Unfortunately I am not good at .ASP, had my friend write that part for me :(

Not sure about ASP but in JavaScript sometimes you have to escape spaces in order to make things work properly. There the escape character for a space is %20. Maybe this is your issue. Perhaps you can go back to your ASP guy and ask what he/she would suggest.
