Hi all,

I've managed to create a simple website for my sons band using Creator 5. I published it using the flex option so that users would not need to download the plexus plugin and it could also be viewed by Mac users.

So far so good. It still needs a bit of tiding up but what I'd really like to do is add and email facility, so that people can contact the band. However the launch email action is disabled in flex and Creator does not support scripting. So I can't use a mailto command that I've seen posted elsewhere

Does anyone have any suggestion.

Cheers

Hi Terry

I don't know Creator but, if you type in the email address of your son's band and select it, can't you right click and choose Create Hypertext? If so, it's just a matter of clicking the Action tab in the ensuing box (a Left Click action is the default setting), then Launch - Email. Click on the Add button in the next box and type in the email address.

HTH

Roger

Use a Launch Web Page action and put
Code:
mailto:bob@nowehere.com

as the address (obviously replacing the address with the real email.

Hi Roger,

Unfortunately the launch email action you are refering too is not available if you create a flex publication, hence my initial question. But thanks for giving it a shot.
