Drag and Drop won't work unless dragable objects and the drop zone are on the same layer ! Tell me this isn't true :(

I'm sorry but drag and drop targets/sources must be at the same object level on the page - you cannot drag out of a frame (or onto an object inside a frame that the drag object is not also in). Layers are a special kind of frame so are also bound by these rules.

I'm doing a puzzle exercise and putting all of the drop areas on one layer and the draggable parts on another so that I can work better with both sets. Is drag and dropping across layers doable for future Opus Versions or is it technically impossible :?: It would be great help if it worked :D

I'm afraid it's not possible - it relies on objects having the same parent.
