Is it possible to create a publication and publish to the web when including qtvr and the hotspot callback functionality?

I created a test - but the qtvr did not show on the page.
I know it doesnt work in flex - but I assumed it would when published as a web publication provided the plugin was installed.

It may be that I am not placing the qtvr.mov in the right location on the web site?

Regards

Pete

I am sure that it is the case that the quicktime movie is not in the corect folder for the website
as (when published locally) the .htm file works fine and accesses the quictime movie from the published folder.

Any ideas where it should go?
I have tried to put it in the html folder,
the assets multimedia folder - all to no avail.

My assumption was that it should go in the same folder as the one containing the ilm file i.e the html folder.

Regards

Pete

I'm afraid you cannot inclue QTVR in web publications for the same reason you cannot include Browser objects - it is not possible to host another ActiveX control (which is how QuickTime and Browsers work) within the web control (which is also an ActiveX control).

If you are using QTVR you will have to use the standard player or link to external HTML pages that contain the QTVRs.

I suppose I could use a "Flattened" image in a scrollable frame.
I was just concerned with file sizes.

I will do some more testing

Thanks again

Regards

Pete
