I have a peculiar problem which has me stumped???

I am working with a laptop with display size 1400X1050. I have set everything up to this size-Publication and chapter, but when I try to move objecte--they will not go beyound 1024 X768.

Is there another setting somewhere?

it's something to do with layers?? I had the buttons on a layer. When I move them from the layer, I can place the objects anywhere on the page. But still no idea what causing the problem?

Hold the Control Key (CTL) down when you are dragging an Object to move it outside the existing Page's boundaries.

Thanks Demofred. I just flattened the layer and everything was OK. For some reason, the layer was limited to 1024X768???
