Hi everyone,

I have a presentation where 5 variables are selected from drop down lists. there is a hidden print button on the same page. Once the variables are selected the choice to print is enabled.

Another page (hidden) is set to 2480x3508 (A4). This page contains a generic sheet, text based with the aforementioned variables. This is the page that prints when the user clicks the print button. My problem is that it can take 3-4 minutes for this page to print! Is there anyway around this problem?

Question: does it take 3-4 minutes for the actual printing of the page that you are concerned with, or does it take 3-4 minutes for the printer to respond to the print command and finally start to print.

The printer recognises the command almost immediately, 3-4 minutes is the time taken to process it. This does not happen with other documents which are printed from other applications eg Word.

Is it because the printer is proccessing the 'blank spaces which make up the A4 sheet as opposed to just printing text from word docs?
