As a user of After Effects, Flash and various sound and video tools I would like to see improvements in the Timeline used in Opus. An overall timeline for the page and perhaps even the publication would be useful - that's always visible in the workspace - Might be useful.

The look of the timeline window could be improved to include individual layers for objects and handles at either end of the time bar for each layer like in after effects and flash. Any thoughts by others?

I would appreciate such a timeline since I am used to it by working with Director, Flash and Captivate.

I don't think we need an overall timeline for the publication but sure we would need it for every page.

Opus is interactive - there is no overall timeline for a page, so we could not realistically show one.

You can put a Timeline on every Page right now. You can have multiple Timelines on Pages. You can have Timelines Start or Stop other Timelines.

What would this NEW Timeline do that the current Timeline doesn't/can't?
