Post subject: Triggers and keyboard shortcuts

Hi First post
Want to use a button to see if it would emmulate keyboard short cuts
Reason is so that my disabled students would not have to use the File, edit, view pathway etc route. The one student has only a select switch access and mouse control with four other switches, a visual impairment as well.

If i can figure it out then i would have small opus prog running at bottom of page with Word etc above. It can be done as in the print menu a command to select printer. Just stuck

I've re-read your post several times to try to think of a way to help you. Do you mean you want an OPUS Button Object to have a Trigger of "Left Mouse Click" then an Action which does the same thing as if you pressed keyboard keys? If so, I'm afraid the answer is no.

OPUS is an interactive, multimedia presentation tool. OPUS can read (RECEIVE) keypresses and then respond, but I know of no way you can SEND keyboard commands by way of any Action. Possible someone knows of a way to create keyboard macros which OPUS could Launch.
