System: Asus - Windows 7 - 8 - Intel Core 3 - 4RAM - 16RAM
I've published several DVD video from Opus Pro 5.5, over the past year, however, now I get the following error message.

"Unable to find a suitable MPEG Encoder Publish cannot continue."

I have no problems creating DVD videos using Nero 6 so I'm not sure if I need to reinstall Opus or if the Nero codec Opus uses is missing.

Has anyone experienced this error or know of fix to the problem rather than reinstalling Nero 6 or Opus Pro?

Thanks

Something has overwritten the registration of the DVD creation codec Opus uses (this is sometimes caused by DVD playback software overwriting the preferences). You will have to re-install Opus to restore the correct links. You can do this without uninstalling the current copy providing they are the same versions.

Duncan, thanks for the input.

I had to remove Opus Pro 5.5 and Nero 6, then reinstall both to get Opus to build a DVD file. Just removing Opus 5.5 and reinstalling didn't work.

Removing Opus Pro 5.5:
I had to run the Opus uninstall program, unwise.exe from the command prompt to get Opus removed. When using the Add/Remove feature I kept getting the message that it couldn't access the install.log file.

This is the command I entered at the prompt: unwise.exe install.log

thanks again,
