Yes, Fred tells me you guys are pretty busy in the kitchen and I can appreciate that.

I've queried IT about this and am awaiting a response.

Kind regards,
Dave

Just an update. Have had other priorities but will return to this shortly. After whining so much perhaps it appeared I lost interest. I have not and will continue this as soon as I get the alligators out of the swamp.

Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Seems to be a lot of alligators around this year -- two of them are looking through my window now.
I think we can blame the pro-alligator conservation lobbyists, the price of ammunition, and alligator shoes and handbags being out of fashion.

Paul

Thank You, Mr. Lilly!

IT guys made setting changes to the server and it works. Now, I have another problem...but I suspect this one should be easier.

The splash screen is popping up every click once the program is running. Never seen this before. I suppose I can do away with the splash screen, but it really shouldn't be doing that, should it?

Paul: Dealt with most of the 'gators, but one is almost up to my knee and I can't seem to shake it loose...

Dave

Hi Dave,

Glad you have sorted out some of your problems :)

I have found that the splash screen will flash before each page/chapter (depending on how you published it) is loaded. I usually disable this feature before publishing.

Thank you, David. I'll just disable the dang thing. Shouldn't be hving to do that, however. Not elegant.

OTOH, that is tiny compared to the boost from getting past the "showstopper" issue on intranet delivery. If all continues to go well and I continue to get cooperation, this will eventually be the largest and most visible application of Opus ever. I am querying LMS vendors now. I don't relish that as most of them su...uh, stink.

Anyway, you'll be hearing from me probably more than you really care to over the next couple of years.

Kind regards,
Dave
