Well, I've successfully run from the web and the page load function seems to work nicely. Speed is very good.

Now, a new problem. I need to be able to have the Plexus plug-in load from inside our firewall. I do not know whether it's our firewall or what, but the plug-in does not automatically load nor are you redirected. You can get it by clicking the link, but that is far too much to expect from my target group. Further, I tried it on a classroom machine and the popup came up and disappeared before I could click the link. I eventually hit it on a refresh and it worked...but that is certainly not an option. No idea what is going on there.

So, I figured I'd use the handy dandy "Plugin Path" option. I entered and double-checked "http://hpappdev3/alpha/Plexus/Opus_Plugin_setup.exe" (checked via web browser...link was good).

Doesn't work. I am still getting the popup and having to redirect to the DW Dowload site. That is no good and won't cut it.

Thoughts?

Regards,
Dave

While I patiently awaiting a response, I did a bit of digging. Launching the publications initial htm file direct yielded the alert from anti-virus in the attached file. I do not get this alert if I launch through the web from a browser, but the plug-in does not load from the path nor automatically from DW and the path has to be clicked on. The other file is the launchfile itself. It appears to have published correctly according to my instructions in the publish dialog...but it does not work.

Therefore, I am at loggerheads. It would appear that whatever is going on here is in spite of everything being correct. As always, that makes troubleshooting hard.

Regards,
Dave
