I want to buy opus, because like I've said before i really enjoy the power of Illuminatus, and want to go more advanced.

Is there anyway I can get a "cheaper" copy? i really just cant afford allot at the moment, like I've said before I'm under 18 and do not have allot of money to play with.

Someone said I can get a copy for £50... [obviously not a very powerful copy] is this true? I think I could afford that. The main thing I require is the publications to be exported as flash. I really need this for web layouts and games, but with Illuminatus 4.5 (which I've been using for about 3 years) I cant do that.

Any ideas?

Dave.

PS Thank you for creating such a powerful program which inspires many creations.

Er... probably not what you want to hear, but:

(1) Ask for contributions from family and friends as your Christmas present?

(2) Look for a part-time job so that you can afford to pay what it costs?

(3) Realize that folk can't always have what they can't afford?

Opus is a very well-priced product that is already cheaper than similar packages. Software development for professional products is expensive and that has to be paid for. I'd rather DW continued to charge a realistic price so that development can continue, and the company can become financially strong, thus ensuring the continuing life of its excellent products.

I am willing to pay upto £100 to £150. I dont need the latest versions or anything like that. I just want to have more flexability with converting my presentations to flash.

Thanks
